This year we went on a trip together again. This time we went to beautiful Varkala.
Here are a few impressions:
It all started very innocent with a few shots at balloons 🙂
After that we went for a round of kayaking.
We used the opportunity to also see the mangrove forest.
In the evening we went for a dinner together.
Before dinner we had a little pool party and after dinner we went to Sandy Bay Beach Bar in Varkala. (The party was also a little blurry, so the picture fits 🙂 )

In the morning the next day, a few of us used the opportunity to go to the sea with some fishermen.
Afterwards we went to Jatayu Para. Also known as Jatayu Earth Center.
It is the largest bird sculpture in the world.
The sculpture is a monument to the battle between Jatayu and the god Ravana. Jatayu tried to save Sita (a goddess in Hinduism).
The monument symbolizes the protection of women as well as their honor and safety.
There were a few other things we did during the trip. But we didn’t get around to taking pictures of all of these activities.
But I hope that the pictures give a good insight into our trip.
